Hit a new spot near home,sure looks like it will produce well,found all this in a 40ft. circle!Plate melted,but it's all there. God Bless HH Chris

I thought you were talking about that little "spur" buckle in the second pic until I scrolled down and saw the last pic. :thumbsup: Very Nice indeed!!!

Thanks Hunthicks, MKnTenn, Civilman1, and Dave. I found out it is Georgian 1720-1790,going back EVERYDAY to hit this spot GOOD.Really surprised me where it's located,in the woods next to a park.God Bless HH Chris

your lucky those buckles usually don't come out complete like that..nice dark patina on it too...congrats :icon_thumright:

BTW, your spoon is the 'Olive' pattern, and the third found recently,
came out originally in 1840s, is it a Meriden or Rogers ?
(Meriden is earlier)

M.R. You know how things come out of forest floor,CRUDDY.Little scrubing with a small brissel brass brush,SILVER for sure by golly!!!!Waitin on some of your finds,it's ur turn! God Bless HH Chris
 

Nice old buckle... :thumbsup: :wink: I've got some that came out like that one almost like yours mabe a tad earlier. :icon_scratch: I like the old buckles & when they come out whole and in that shape I really like it. :D
