Minelab Equinox 600
Found this in a park in northern California.
The inscription says "FACTA NON VERBA," which translates to "Deeds, not words," a common motto for many different organizations.

Someone suggested it was used for women's suffrage. There are initials on scrolls: Left L K; right A C.
Not sure if it's read across L to R or up and down.
Image shows four yellow roses, an antlered deer head, a shovel, and a sewing machine.
There are scroll symbols between the roses too. FactaNon.jpg

Any clues?

It seems to be from South Africa. Some kind of youth service organization or club.

I don't know what it is, but definitely South African as @DCMatt says. Those are protea flowers around the edge and that's a springbok in the centre... both widely used as emblems for the country.

Closest I've got so far is Landsdiens land service. But dunno. Cool find.

Big Help, Plug-N-Play!
Your service is appreciated.

It's this kind of group participation that makes Treasurenet (and the world) a better place.
Thanks!
