Silver or Pewter Hallmark?

Hello, pair of candlesticks that looked funny. At first I thought they were pewter, but they don't feel like it. They've been polished and lacquered, so I couldn't tell by the patina. Either way, they seemed worth a gamble. Any help on what the hallmarks mean would be appreciated!

well it looks like silver and that 95 usually means 95% of whatever metal it's made. Don't know that hallmark but silver forum might be place to find it.

Have you checked it with a magnet? I think the 95 is probably a model or pattern number.
