Silver Officer's Bars?

Found this a few weeks ago. I think it is some type of military Officer's Bars, but I'm not sure. And not sure from what Time period either. The word "SILVER" is printed on the back. I need help identifying it.

Those are Captain bars, not sure of the era, but some say WWI, the type you have are referred to as "Corrugated" and sometimes "Coffin Covers",

I found it in the woods where I have found alot of Civil War relics, but I didn't think it was that old.

Pretty sure it is WWI Era.. did you dig this or find this say in a flea market or something?

Ok you just answered my question @ the same exact time lol.. ok I want to say WWI Era but it doesnt look at all like it came out of the ground, it may have been dropped there not long ago or something in that nature, i think it may be WWI but could be later.

I dug it in the woods where there was Civil War Union troop activity.

Yah it is a kewl find but not Civil War era. these were popular in the early 20th century.
