well here comes winter storm Lucy. (ugh, really? Is the weather channel so bored that they have to name every single storm out there??) and all my hard work at snowblowing just got snowed over. 4 inches of wet heavy nastiness covered with freezing rain. Blech!! The only silver lining, well 2 of them really is that I have the next 4 days off and while searching for loose change to help a customer out, in our drawers underneath our cash tills were we keep the odds and ends of being cashiers, I found a coin. It was a 1963 dime!! Yeah!! Someone must have thought it was a canadian dime and threw it into the box. works for me.
I just hope the weather clears up, so I can snowblow (yet again, ugh) and take my mom to town. we are going to get her hair done and while that is happening I am going to drive up the road to my dump bank and unload my 600 dollars worth of nickels. Maybe. Worse comes to worse, I need to take her in to town to get her bloodwork done for her meds. what a time for that rotten storm to come.
But at least I got a bit of silver from it.
