My best score in over 2 years.
Asked the teller if she had any half Dollars. She did not but I asked the teller next to her and she had 2 rolls that a customer brought in a week age.
Both rolls were shotgun rolls ($20 roll)
And they were sealed with Brinks on them.
I have never seen this before.
Both rolls were SOLID 1964 almost uncirculated.
80 1964 halfs.

Congratulations -- a fantastic score.

Two weeks ago, my local pawn shop was offering 12X for 90% silver. At that price, you're looking at a 'paper' profit of $440 ($480 - $40).

It's one thing to find solid rolls...it's another to find coins in that condition. Sweet! Strange with the brinks wrapper. What do you think was going on there?

Right place at the right time I'm thinking.

Amazing find and Congrats! My bank checks every coin that comes in to grab the Silver!

Great, great find and the temptation to open them is definitely understandable but as a frequent purchaser of Original Bank Wrapped (OBW) rolls of all denominations if you left them unopened they would have brought at least $500 EACH on EBay......but once they are opened you are just left with the silver value...... people, including myself, pay a very high premium to be the first one to search the roll.......hope this knowledge helps with your next big score, and again, congrats!!!!!!

HH all!

Greg
