I stopped by my local grocery store to deposit a few cans and see if I could peruse through the coin rejects at the service desk. Managed a few wheatbacks...no early dates...some Canadian and spied a 64 silver quarter which almost went unnoticed...the Canadian dime was from another coinstar...a 2016...very shiny... hopeful thinking but wondering if it's a silver mint reject?...I think 1967 or 68 are the last dates Canadian dimes had silver...but you never know...any thoughts? Just happy to nab a silver quarter...Thanks for viewing!

Yeah, '68 was the last year for silver (50%) business strikes, and it was a split year.

Dumb questions...50 percent silver content for the Canadian dime? When you say business strikes...I haven't heard that term before...please explain...and thank you in advance!

Business strikes are the typical ones made for general circulation, as opposed to the mint sets or proof sets. Some of the later sets after 1968 have coins with silver in them.

Thank you for that information...now I know. :)
