Nice! I have found one dime and two quarters in my change in the past 3 years. It's still out there but you don't find it often. I got my last silver quarter in change from a food cart at the local zoo. Bought my son an ice cream treat for $2.00 and ended up getting over $6.00 worth of silver in return (silver was around $35 at the time).

I've found one Mercury dime in about $1000 worth of loose change in the past 3 years, and it was by total luck.Good going!

My wife and I were out of town last summer and stopped at a McDonalds. Got a quarter in change and she tossed it up on my dash. I told her that it sounded funny when it landed. Let me see it. Sure enough a silver. Would have never noticed if I hadnt heard the sound!

I was shocked to find a wheatie a couple months back. It pays to look!!!

Good catch, I always check my change!! HH, RCH

I got this 64 D dime today, from $50 of coin rolls. I also got this Canadian dime.

If I'm not mistaken the 64 D has a double die variety worth a good chunk.

nice silver. my sister-in-law showed me a Canadian silver maple leaf coin ( 1oz of .9999 fine silver! ) that she got at the convenience store she works at. she said some girl pumped 5 bucks in gas and came in and paid for it with the maple leaf. sis-in-law didn't know what it was, but changed out 5 bucks with the register (the coin has a $5 face value). she frowned when I told her it wasn't legal tender here in the states, but got a big smile when I told her the silver value was near 30 bucks. always amazes me what people spend. I can only assume it was probably stolen.

The inly silver I have gotten in change in years is a war Nickle. I got it at a junk yard when I bought my transfer case for my truck. Nice find.
