The time was 6:00 am and we were itching to get going.
We first hit a park that started out slow and 20 minutes
in, TONE, nice tone, dig it quick and let it breathe tone,
Out into the sunlight was a heavy 925 silver ring with a
onyx stone and thunderbirds on each side. My hunt was
good.
Howard was getting a little frustrated, so he went to the
parking lot. I saw him on his knees, so I figured he was
finding what he wanted.
Mdguy was in a nice shaded grassy area and seemed to
be digging every time I looked up.
Civilman1 had disappeared. This is his modus operendi.
Ya'll gotta understand that he doesn't necessarily need
a detector. He has a "metal sense" about him. He goes
where the goods are, EVERY time. But I'm not bitter. I
get more excited about his find than he does sometimes.
We started to get itchy again, so we headed down to the
local high school.
We split up and went to fun. I took a patch by a back
door. Hit, hit, hit, We have a hunt on! Hit, hit.
Everybody else was hittin' and diggin. All was well.
After we cleaned up the back of the school we went to
the front.
I hit one hole and pulled out 22 coins. That's a record for
me.
Anyway, I had a GREAT time hunting with friends and happy
to meet mdguy for the first time. All was good in the land of
Tone!
The first photo is (left to right) mdguy, civilman1, Howard.
The second photo is me with the "I'm really excited to be
here" shirt, civilman1, and Howard
The third photo is my finds for the day.
