I have not posted for a while as I have been in New Zeland on vacation, & no I did not take the md with me. I went out for a couple of hours and hit a park & a school. Found about $7.00 in clad and a few rings & things. There are three .925 silver rings, a .925 silver cross, I thought I would dig everything that sounded good & man was I surprised when I got a 47 vdi and pulled out the 14k gold cross. It weighs 9 grams I tried but could not find the chain that was once attached to it. Then came the little gold ring and the large chain. The chain has no markings on it and it weighs a ton but a magnet will not stick to it so I think it might be silver. The bracelet is bling so all in all I had a good two hour hunt. I have been trying to find more gold so I have been digging a lot more signals and it is paying off.

That's the way to do it. Dig all signals you may have to dig 500 pull tabs to get one ring but it worth it...Matt

Thanks for the replies, there are not many spots around here that have not been hit hard so unless I want to travel I have to look more for the harder items like rings. It is good pratice and I am learning more about the MXT.
