all,

well checked my coins from lunch like i do usually now...once i got home checked online about the 1960 rosie i got in the change. i saw on ebay a guy was selling one for 225.00 , personally looking at mine it looked better than his, but the pics don't do either of our coins justice im sure! mine has no visable mint mark, really not too sure where to look figured it would be where the js is on mine . any thoughts ?? i prefer to find my silver in the ground but this will do..lol...HH, rainy finally here for once( we need the rain), so will be trooping through the forums again tonight..lol...thanks for looking.gregg

Gregg:
The "JS" stands for John R. Sinnock, the coin't designor. The mint mark, if any, on this type of dime (between 1946 and 1964) would be at the base and to the left of the torch on the reverse. I don't see any initial there, so it would be a Philly mint; valued at about $1.50 in EF-40 condition--retail.

Can't beat getting silver for face value  I wonder what the deal with the one on ebay is, 1960 isn't a key date is it?
