Silver Fork

Found me a silver fork the other day.
When I first dug my plug I saw the very end of the fork handle sticking out of the dirt.At first I thought I had another pull tab.When I brushed the dirt away I realized I had a silver fork.

Sterling...Milton Kohler and it has initials on the handle.

Nice find. I have 6 forks. 9 spoons and 3 butter knives. This year. All old. And all silver plated. I can't remember seeing a silver fork posted on here in a while

We found a ton of silver plated silverware while digging for bottles.The boy found a part of a twisted up silver fork while metal detecting and I found a small silver spoon earlier this year metal detecting.
We never expected to find this fork in the yard we'd hit a dozen times already. The day I found this fork I hit a small corner of open yard in the very back of the yard we were hunting. I knew neither one of us had hit that spot and sure enough it paid off checking it out.
