I purchased this at an estate sale this weekend and was looking for some more information. Here's what I know:
The maker of the fork and spoon is Pierre Benoit Lorillon and it dates to the late 1700s early 1800s. Pierre worked with Napoleon's silversmith Biennias. Pierre also made pieces for Queen Hortense who was married to Napoleons brother.
The knife appears to go with the set but does have a different makers mark. I have not been able to find the maker...any help would be much appreciated.
Any ideas at to what this set would have been used for? Traveling set?
Thanks for the help!!!
