Went detecting at a house that a friend at work has bought and fixing up to resell today. Built in 1929.
Managed to find 8 wheats....1918,1918,1919,1930,1936,1939,1946,&1955
Buffalo/Indian head nickel...date unreadable
3 clad quarters
1 clad dime
3 memorial pennies
old pocket knife
ski jacket fob
and a silver ear ring marked 925

I think I'll go back a few times....maybe after it has rained to see if I can find the silver coins that has to be there also. Its been dry as a bone here lately and the digging was hard.

Way to go zeke! Biy the way, I am going to a water hunt tomorrow sponsored by my club, the Indian Territory Treasure Hunters Club here in OKla. I will be putting the scoop I bought from you to good use and will put in a plug for you! Best of luck. JIM

congratulations on that buffalo! just found my first last weekend! how deep was yours?

Congratulations Zeke. I don't know what it is about the buffalo nickel, but it is always fun to bring one of those up, and they don't seem to come easy. Congrats...Lance

Nice finds! I think it's amazing that Zeke and Maggot found a matching pair of earrings so far apart! That is too cool!

Thats wild Maggot :o ........must have been a popular style.

Hollowpoint...it was about 3" deep in hard ground. Found it off the side of a concrete walkway in the front yard.

How did your hunt go jim?

Thanks for the compliments. ;D
