Tempted to stop by a coin store this afternoon and pick up a little bit. Probably farther to fall though so I should probably "just say no" for now.

PS I picked up some ZSL call options recently, so they should be going up if silver keeps tanking. Would be nice to sell them at a profit and roll that money into silver at a lower price if that happens.

How much profit did you make on $7000? From what I can tell it is only going up and down by a few percentage points each week. Isn't the spread just about as big as the swings have been? Don't get me wrong, I've been playing the swings with SLV and have made a few percentage points here and there. But the current price swings don't seem to be conducive to buying and selling physical silver. Or perhaps I'm wrong...

What does it matter, lets say it was over a $1.00 but that's not the point I was trying to make as I bought it around $28.00-$29.00 so any profit is good small ar large, I wanted some cash for this weekend for an auction I'm attending so I needed to sell some to buy some and I'm glad I did before this drop.

Gotcha... don't be offended. I was under the assumption that you had bought it recently (at say $35) and had liquidated it at $38. My assumption was clearly wrong. I was just trying to understand if people were selling physicals at such numbers and still making a decent profit.

When it hits $30 i'm buying again. :laughing7: :laughing7:

Me too. ;D

As will I. However there is no guarantee it will be 30 again. I do think there is a greater than 50% chance silver will dip below 30, but I cannot say for sure. I have been buying in the 33 to 36 range a bit just in case that winds up being the low point.

I am now in a double leveraged bear etf via call options that will go up if/when silver corrects. If silver never corrects they will expire worthless down the road, but that will mean my physical has gone up, or at the very worst stayed the same.

I actually hope silver drops below 30 this summer because my options will make me some good $$$$$ that I will then put right back into physical.

Actually I just bought a bunch of silver at $35.00 and turned around and sold it at $38.00 but then again I only paid 80% of value for it in the first place and made a fast few bucks. Lots of people are selling out there and running scared as there are not to many people jumping on the bandwagon so to speak as a couple of months ago. So there are a few good deals out there but not on flea bay.
