Re: Silver Dollars & Misc. Coins-Pics

There are 117 silver dollars; 4 gold coins;9 silver bars and 37 silver rounds as well. Thanks . The book value on the low end is $4561.00. These coins arent graded ;but was valued on the lowest value listed in the redbook @ ef 20. Some are alot better than that and some are worse. 2 coins are holed and 3 have no visable date.Im am looking to get 85% of the book value.I will take $3875.00 for the collection. The silver was based 13.00/oz. It was over $14 yesterday. The book value of gold @ $900/oz. More yesterday as well.Shipping and insurance extra.

Unless you have some key dates in the collection, you are looking at about melt value for the silver. $12 a piece or so. I don't know about the gold coins, you would have to check around. You won't find many people that will give you what the red book has for value. Find a "grey sheet", that is what the coin dealers use. It uses more realistic prices.

He is just trying to get as he can don't blame him. Most refineries only pay 95% I made an offer when he first listed and his bottom price is 4100 shipped

Only problem is anyone buying this is going to resell or melt. But at this spot prices can't make money at 4100.
