The metal detecting Gods have sure smiled down on me hunting this lot. I almost feel guilty finding so many good coins in one place. Today was one of those unbelievable days !!!

Thirty one silver coins !!!!!

Never found that many in one day in my lifetime of detecting. I know this run eventually will end, but till it does I am going to keep at it. Not even going to show the clad this time.

Hope you enjoy seeing what a once in a lifetime hunting spot looks like. Believe it or not the other guy hunting with me found a 1922 and 1927 Peace Dollar !!!

Hope to hit it again tomorrow. Till then HAPPY HUNTING !!!

That sure is some honey hole, congrats on all the silver

"Hope to hit it..."; I would camp there! Congratualtions! :notworthy:

A place that lives up to its name, again
days like yours is what the real old timers used to have, or at least their stories were like that ; you just proved there are places like that yet undiscovered and detected

I think a bank must have been there at one time....Holy Cow!!!

I'm most impressed by those buffalo nicks.

Hard to believe but there was a time when every dime, quarter, 50 cent piece and dollar was silver. I am sure the old timers just vacuumed them up.

I'm most impressed by those buffalo nicks.

Wound up with four. Amazing that ALL were 1936. Might have been the original owners birthday.

I ran them through my tumbler before taking the picture, but you are right, they haven't been in the ground long. I think sometime in October of last year.

Stellar digs!
