3 hour hunt, these are some of the better finds.
Silver coin, silver chain, a small silver earring, toasted wheat cents, etc.

This is a ten cent coin from 1944 American-Philippines, it is 75% silver.
At some point someone must have turned it into jewelry or something.

A Dog Tag of some kind, has the date "January 31st 1946" on it.
Name on it is "Weiland Peter M."

I searched Google and found that Peter M Weiland (with the same birth date) passed away November 7th, 2005.

Wow pretty quick work vpnavy! Nice 3 hour hunt underminer. What do you think that badge on the bottom left is all about? Would love to return something like those tags myself.

Great hunt. Really nice finds. Some people have all the luck.. :occasion14:

You picked away at some cool finds. Because of the 2 holes in the Philippine Coin, I would lean towards it being part of a bracelet at one time.
Congratulations on a nice assortment of finds.

awesome finds, that guy might have family that the tag can be returned to. always cool. great and fast response vpnavy

great finds makes me wonder if my detector is even working

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Can't make out any writing, etc. - nuttn' to search on. :(

I returned a WWII dog tag I found several years ago to the mans widow. It was a special time for her and me.

Just cleaned it up now, it's an ID tag with a name, address, and an Indian's head. Looks 1930's-ish.

I just google maped the address and found the house, and there is an old man standing outside. Would be so cool if that is Maurice and I can return his key fob a half century after he lost it lol :)
