Hi... I have found this silver coin, 2,40 gr. and the size of a Dime. on a side we can see an eagle, a star, and "pluribus". and on the other side we can see a face of a woman(I think) looking to the right. is it a Dime, or the center part of a bigger coin??
thank you for your help.

better pics without flash, maybe take outdoor daylite, is the pluribus in a banner
i think only 1 dime had a E
pluribus unum in a banner

I have taken the photos without flash.. and I don't think it's this coin. I was thinking maybe more to a heraldic eagle reverse, because the star near the head of the eagle, and the shape of what I think is a banner.

It's a barber quarter or half (I'm assuming quarter).

i dont see the eagle, i do think i see the star above the B in "pluribus".
and i do see a banner and the word "pluribus". in the banner
i think i see a face other side,not sure its a woman
and to the upper right, close to edge it looks like A? SA
is that where you see the star?
how thick is this piece, maybe it was a coin ring gone bad

I can't tell what it is but it looks as if it was shot out of a gun and impacted with something. Maybe the Old West's way of killing Werewolves, shoot a Silver coin in place of a bullet.:dontknow:

I'm telling you I'm positive it's a barber quarter! What happened to it I don't have a clue haha! image-2323551657.jpg

the head of the eagle is just at the bottom right of the star.. where you draw your circle.

thank you for your identification.. SCDigginWithAK... a barber quarter.. I found this coin near an old house, but on the side of an access road that has been made more recently. maybe it's the result of the road construction..

It's a cool find. Definitely a conversation piece! Good luck and happy hunting!

It would be interesting to see what PCGS would give it as a grade! I know, the best you could hope for is that it came back with "genuine" on the case. Still, I would call it AH -23.......about horrible and 23% missing! :laughing7:
