Hey guys, I got out to that same park I've been hitting for awhile now and have been doing well at (for a not-very-old park). I was going for those deep signals and for the first time, did not pull one wheat out of this park (though I did manage a 1959 memorial and a lot of other deep clad). Early on I managed a nice heavy silver ring, and later on added to my list an old, circa 1940's canning lid (approved by Good Housekeeping magazine!) in perfect condition, a junk bracelet with fake stones that looked real at first, a broken ring with a lion's head that had to have been 8 inches down, a trigger for what I'm assuming was a toy gun, a watch face from U.S. Time, several foreign coins, a 1998 dog Rabies tag, and a whole ton of other odds and ends and lots of junk as I was trying for gold rings and nickels today. Also, $8.08 in clad. The find of the day was this nice 1953 Washington. Hope you guys did well today! See you soon.

Joe

Great job bud, at least somebody I know is finding silver!!!
I am on a silver coin drought since Memorial Day Weekend. I guess im not putting my coil over the right places...:icon_scratch:

Goio,

About 5-6 inches, not too deep at all.

Man those silver Washingtons are hard to find! I've found more Barbers and SLQ's than Washingtons over the years, so you might be on to an overlooked or under hunted spot! Tear it up Joe!

All of the silver quarters so far this year have been Washingtons. And I've never dug a Barber quarter. I've got a couple standing liberties, no dates. Show me where you're finding these Barbers and I'll show you where I'm getting the Washingtons! lol, jk. I always get excited when I dig silver, whether it's a standing liberty or a 1964 Roosevelt.
