Got off work at 5 and got a couple hours in with the metal detector with the boy.The boy was out earlier at a different spot and found a couple wheats and a Rosie.
The boy and I hit a local park not finding much.It was getting late almost dark and I got a good solid hit.I dug a plug and flipped it over, wrapped around in grass roots I spotted a silver chain.A closer look and I spot a pendant attached.
We're not sure if the chain is silver but,the pendant is marked .925.
My fourth silver jewery for the year.....Sweet!!

Great finds, I wish all my wheats looked like yours.

There was no clasp, there was a half rusted ring that looked like someone added on later.I looked up St.Christopher and found a bunch of chains with pendants.None with the exact design as this pendant but,a lot had the silver pendant with a stainless steel chain?
We'll get a kit we'll check it out and know for sure.

Looks like you had a nice day out detecting. Sweet finds.

Great finds, just in case you didn't know your wheats are Indian Cent, not Lincoln Cents, Wheat Reverse. They are very cool no matter what you call them!

I always find pendants like this in school parks or local parks. I have like 10 of them. now when I find them I just put them back. With the amount I find only in parks I'm sure someone puts them there to help protect the kids and such or that's just what I tell myself now so I leave them.

Just the cheap silver ones tho lol if I find a gold one maybe I will swap it with 1 of the 10 silver ones I do have 8)

Neat finds! Congrats and HH!

Yeah,I know they were Indian Heads, don't know why I said wheats.I think I was still excited about the chain and pendant.lol

I'm glad you found them and gave them a new home, nice save on all your finds.
