My late Dad was a banker for 45 years and knew his coins/bills. He left a few silver certificates and I can't determine why...but suspect they might have some value. I've attached fronts and backs.

The $1 certs are 1957, blue seals and are an A and B series, each signed by C. Douglas Dillon. I've read where his signature could be worth something...

The $5 certs are 1928 F, red seal; and 1934 D blue seal.

The $20 cert has "Washington, D.C." printed above the Twenty on the front below the serial number. Unfortunately it is highlighted in pink...but I don't see this printed on any other silver certificates.

Anyone know what these might be worth?

I'm a new member and appreciate any guidance.

Value: just a bit more than $32. Ones and twenty are damaged, last 5 might be ok. Perhaps he kept them as a keepsake, but until 1966, I think, you could take those to the mint, and receive a silver dollar, or later, and small bag of silver. At the end, it supposedly like getting a buck 40 for the silver cert. Most people didn't know that they were expiring and hung onto them just knowing that they were worth "more". Still billions and billions of them out there, but every collection should have one. I had a 1929 gold cert. twenty and received $30 in trade, which means 20 in wholesale at most. Keep them for the memories as well as the hands on effect.
