Yesterdays club dig on farmland, lots of lead and pewter buttons but I did find a Roman Fibula and a nice small silver button. Fingers crossed it is Queen Anne 1702-1714 last of the Stuarts.
Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, 12 American colonies, seven Caribean islands, Gibraltar (from 1704 a Royal Marine Battle honor) Minorca, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Looking forward to getting it back and cleaned once it has been recorded and checked by the local FLO.

Its a silver late 18th C cufflink piece but a real nice one, not had that type yet. A good find :icon_thumright:

Thanks Crusader, I should not listen to other club members. You may not know but our club rules are all finds go into sealed bags with name and club number, then taken by our finds officer and recorded.
The club has nearly 40 years of records of every thing that has been found. (Article in Searcher early in the year) Might get them back next week.
No picture of the Arthur Canut, long time ago but enter Reading Museum, turn right, left hand far corner.

Good idea, but our FLO can't cope with 3 items every 6 months, no idea how come yours is so efficient, good news all around. We do all our own recording including GPS & maps (hundreds of hours work a year, mostly by Dad, with me IDing & a third researching member on new sites & contacts), & for the most part only record Treasure as discribed under the Act.
If you need an ID, stick it in the 'What Is It' & you will have one in minutes :icon_thumright:
