Metal Detecting
Well after taking a few weeks off from metal detecting to get some work around the house done I'm back swinging. Went out before church and found a few coins.

Went to a park that always seems to turn up a few keepers and here was the take...

Found a 1926 buffalo head nickel and a 1945 P war nickel. Also found a 1944 wheatie and a 1940 Canadian penny.

The ring I pulled out of the dry sand when I was down in the outer banks a few weeks back. I thought it was white gold but when I looked inside it read titanium #9. Oh well, it is my first titanium wedding band. Did not do a lot of detecting since there was so much sand deposited on the beach I was only finding recent loses. I really need to get a water detector. If anyone has a line on a Minelab 1000 please let me know.

It was good to get out and hopefully I can finish up my remaining house projects during this week so I can fit more detecting in. One day I'll take sometime to really clean my coin finds.

Re: A few keepers coins and a ring

Congrats on the finds. Sometimes it's sooo hard to choose between the things you want to do and those you have to do. HH! every chance you get.
