Today I had planed to hit an old baseball field but on my drive to my planed destination I saw a small patch of grass behind a bus stop that looked old, it had probably been there for 70 or more years. I had never noticed this place before even driving past it probably 30 times! At this bus stop only about 10 minutes after turning on my machine a get a good hit at 2 inches and out pops a 1942-S Merc! I would continue hunting this small path of grass for the next 2 hours and would eventually dig a total of 30 coins. The merc dime would be the best best coin found there.
I left the bus stop area and continued to my original hunt location that I had planed to hunt and found the place loaded with a game of little league baseball players
Leaving the little league players I continued to my second planed location and found the same obstacle ! ...Another game of little league going on...
A sand box near by would produce $5.98 in clad gas money.
On to my 3rd location...A park I've pounded to death still gave up 3 deep wheaties. So it was a good day, a silver dime in the first 10 minutes, and the next 7 hours worth of hunting was a little frustrating...
