First quickie hunt, last night:http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/b...498-my-first-walking-liberty-half-dollar.html
Made the return trip this morning as planned, had a few hours, with the chance of storms moving in, luckily they skirted to the south.
For the most part, there were targets every few steps while searching, alot of nails, bolts, lead sinkers & bullets.
Dug my first standing liberty quarter! unknown date, along with a 27 & 42 merc dime, 47 dime, a 45 quarter, 44/45/55/59 nickel, 24/30/36 wheatie
& a religeous pendant marked sterling, a cross (looks like pewter?), a name tag
fork, pocket knife, radiator parts, whatsits, etc
& .......one thin, but gold, wedding band (14kt+)!
Heres the pic of everything except the nails/bolts left of the pic frame:
Probably gonna try and get back tomorrow too!
