Silver bar?

found this piece of metal at an old home site. It looks to be poured (first picture) and is broken on one side. Feels heavy and rings like silver any clue what it could be? will be testing later today to see if silver.

lead, used for making bullets and weights and such

I agree. Bar solder is part tin and part lead. If it's lead only, it will be softer. It would have been used on the metal roof, gutters and some plumbing.

That was it, I knew it wasn't 100% lead but I took the torch to it and it sure did melt like solder. Thanks for the info
