Yesterday I was a user of the Whites forum, today I logged on and here I am. Now that I have become a newbie again thought I would post one of my best finds. This badge is from a United States Naval Air Station that was in Shawnee Oklahoma. It was a training center until designated a USNAS in April of 1944. It was closed down in April on 1945. Since only being a USNAS for 1 year and knowing that the navy probably destroyed the rest of the badges down, I glad the pin on the back of this one broke. Hope patrolman no. 4 didn't get into to much trouble.
