found my first silver today, wasn't MD though. found it at work while counting the regesters ?;D. ?1959 quarter, ?lol just wish I could find stuff like this while MDing rather than beer bottle caps hehe, anyways rather than let it be lost in circulation any longer I switched it out with a 2000 that I had in my pocket. ;)

Good eye !!

Once a few years ago while delivering pizza at my part-time job, I had a woman give me $3.00 SHORT of what was due ( Not to mention there was NO TIP involved !!? >:( ) ....... I politely told her that she still was short ..... she asked me by how by how much & I responded something like "$2.97" ..... she came back with $3.00 in SILVER Quarters !! I was MORE than happy to come up with her 3 Cents change !!? ?;D LMAO all the way back to work !!? ;D

BTW .... your quarter has a Denver Mintmark in case you did not realize. ;)

anyone know any good coin sights? the coin isn't that dirty but I would still like to clean it up alittle, I hear that olive oil would work best, I don't know though. any tips? I am thinking of getting a red book, don't know if it has any tips in that at all but will find out. I did notice the denmark "D" on it but don't know what it signifies other than the area it was made :p

Don't bother to "Clean it up" other than just good 'ole soap & warm water with a soft toothbrush.

In the circulated condition it is in, it is worth only about $1.25 in silver "melt". STILL a worthwhile find? ;)

Just keep it as it is. Cleaning devalues things, but it is not an expensive coin. Still, SILVER IS SILVER, no matter how you find it.
