Nice silver bracelet for sure ! Not very old though - 925 while denoting the sterling alloy , is a
contemporary mark (within the last 30 years or so ) . The bracelet is likely of Indonesian or
Mexican manufacture , nice find ! Argentium.

Nice piece of silver. Maybe a female KGB agent had cianide in it! :tongue3: jgas

Actually, the number 925, indicating a 925 parts per 1,000, or "sterling," silver, was first used by Tiffany, Young and Ellis in 1851 and has been widely used since the 1930's.

Nice locket bangle, looks vintage to me maybe 50's-60's.

Nice piece!! I would take it to a jeweler, and have them buff out the scratches, and shine it up.
It appears to be a good quality piece. Very nice!

that is a beauty and sure does look old. congrats on the nice find.

Great looking bracelet find there Santa's Elf! :icon_thumright:

I don't believe this bracelet is a "modern" one . . .
but it's hard to tell without more detailed pictures. :icon_scratch:

I would also hold off on "having them buff out the scratches, and shine it up" until you know when this piece really dates from. If you "polish off the age" like with an old coin, then it'll just look like a "new" bracelet. :'(

If you would be kind enough to photograph the back of the locket and a pic with the locket open, I might be able to give you a more accurate date. :icon_thumright:

Cheers,
Dave
