Silver and new machine...

Hello all. I haven't been too active in quite awhile now. I took a breather for about a year without doing much hunting at all. About a week ago, my son talked me into going out to hunt for a spell. He found a 1906 Barber Half and that got me back in the mood fast. I am about to retire, so I figured I would treat myself to a new machine. Talked myself right into buying the Whites V3i. Had a chance to take it out for a spin today and didn't do too bad. I hunted an older school that I pounded hard and heavy for the past 6 years. Didn't think there were any silver left in that yard...but, I did manage to get a 1943 Washington Quarter and an old cig lighter from a few years ago. Darn, didn't know how sore I could get..hmmm..might need to do this everyday..Have fun all and good luck.

Great score on the silver GW and on the V3i's maiden voyage at that. I don't think you'll be sorry on your choice of the V3i, they're a fantastic detector. I found a sterling ring on my V3i's maiden voyage
