Got out on Sunday and Monday to a park I have been hunting 5 or 6 times over the past 2 months.

Was out for about 4.5 hours on Sunday. Got a pair of Barber dimes - 1906 and a full liberty 1913, 4 Indians - 1887, 1900, 1903 and 1906. Also got 10 wheaties and an enameled pin that I think is a girl scout.

Went back to the same spot Monday for another 4 hours and it was even a better day - 2 Barber Dimes - 1901 and a 1903-O. The 1903-O was in an area where I think there has been some clay fill and it is pretty discolored. Looked liked a clad dime at first. 3 Mercs - 1917, 1942 and a 1926 that looks like it was hit with a lawn mower. 2 Indians - 1904 and 1905. The 1904 was in the same clay fill area and it is really trashed. Got another 10 wheaties which pushed me over 500 for the year. Also got a sterling silver religious medallion, a horse shoe/horse pendant and a real cool 1930s Chicago playground athletics pin.

Very nice finds. What was the name of that park?

Wow Pat this has been a great week for you!!! I love that Playground pin - it looks just like that swim meet pin I found a few months ago. Does yours say Chicago Tribune on it?
