Silver and gold...

Looks like my January is over for swinging and at least today I was rewarded with silver and gold!! I had to swing in Ohio, but the small 10k ring with two dolphins and the silver roosie made a fun hunt even better. The Merc was found in my pocket change last week. I don't remember the last time I had found a Merc in change so was definitely happy!! The ring was laying on the ground in an area where kids slide when there is snow, so I suppose it was lost then! I also found four dollars in clad, but left that in the truck!

I can't remember when I found a merc in my change, but I did find one today....about 7" in the turf.

I'd settle for just half the amount you found in January. I've got a few spots I had intended to hunt last year that I'm going to get this spring so I should be hitting alot of silver in March, February might be a little too frozen, but who knows what will happen!
