Hello everyone,
I hunted the curb strips near the hospital I work at and found quite a bit in only an hour. I found five wheat pennies the oldest of which was 1920 and the other four were common 1940s and 1950s dates. Found an old marble and an old thimble that was so tiny it won’t even fit on my pinky. I got a repeatable 18–19 signal that ended up being a 1977 French 5 centimes. Near the curb I got a solid locked on 10-48 Which got me thinking maybe another silver half dollar. I was surprised when a large silver ring popped out what surprised me even more is when I went to check for hallmarks I saw the glint of another ring inside of it. They were actually stuck together and took me quite a long time to separate them! The ring inside ended up being a 10 karat gold ring with 13 small diamond chips and weighs 2.7 g while the silver ring weighs a little over 7 g!! I also picked up at 1948 silver dime as well!
