Didn't Burl Ives sing that song? I got Silver and lead.:laughing7: I been hunting an area that's had activity since 1635.it's a turf farm now after centuries of crop growing it covers 112 acres.Over the last 7 years I have found Silvers and 2 Gold, every type and caliber bullet ever used from musket balls on up even brass knuckles..previous find.

Awesome finds! I remember my dad had inherited his father's brass knuckles, and we kids used to 'play' with them. One of my siblings when a teenager used to take them with 'her' during some wild excursions(she had two brothers and had to be tough...even without the knuckles) and one night was apprehended by authorities as an 'endangered runaway' with some less-than-promising cohorts, and the knuckles were intercepted and confiscated. So much for heirlooms.
