Got out for a number of short hunts over the last couple of weeks. Managed to find some silver and a 14k gold and diamond earring.

To start with, the earring. Ground was snow covered with a lot of it frozen so I decided to hit the beach as there was a storm not long ago. I found a lot of coins but happen to be using my visual detector in addition to my CTX to find this particular earring. It was lying on the surface about 10' away from the track I was walking.

As far as the silver, tried a new park, found a bunch of wheaties and a 1920 merc and decided it was worth going back. Been back twice for short hunts and in addition to more wheaties came up with silver. First time back I found a couple of mercs and a sterling bracelet. Went back again and came up with a bunch more wheaties and 3 mercs, a silver ring, religious medal and war nickel. Seems like their's still more silver to be found. Also came up with a German coins from 1924 and an old belt buckle with LNY on it. Any ideas as to what it means would be appreciated. Through in a pick of the wheaties as I found more than 50. Went with diggin dude and he came up with silver too.

Nice job on the cool recoveries! :occasion14:

Great finds Don! The silver medal is really nice, great silver coins and nice bracelet. Gold earring with the diamonds is always a exciting find, but the buckle is really cool. Fun hunting with you, Congratulations and happy hunting?
