I went to a local city park on Sunday to hunt before the rains came down. I found a lot of pull tabs and some clad. Started to head back to the vehicle and I got a nice 86 with the AT Max. So I dug a plug and a 1941 GW silver quarter was at 6" deep.
I move along about 10 more feet and I got a nice 92 - 93. Thinking maybe a silver half or something else. It turned out to be the something else at 12" deep. My first pocket watch.
I got home yesterday from work a little stress out from day. I decided to go out in the park in front of my house that I have hunted off and on for the last seven years. Lately I have been only finding clad pennies. I decided to bring the Max with me and I set the ground balance -5 from the original GB. I swung for about an hour, I got an 83 down to 25 back up to an 86. Turned 90 degrees and the VDI was 22. Thinking it was a piece of iron I almost didn't dig. But curiosity got the better of me, out came the plug in goes the pin pointer out comes a iron nut. Re-scanned the hole and lo and behold this what was look at me at 8".
Lesson to be learned dig all signals and don't ever think any place has been completely cleaned out.
Thanks for viewing.
