I decided to go out yesterday even though it was extremely windy and cold to hit a coupe of virgin field sites. The first site required a lot of walking to get back to the site. The first good target was a Civil War General Service button. I ended up finding another CW button later that was in much better shape. The best find came on another full dig on video. It ended up being a sweet Civil War Store Card from Kenton Ohio. Last couple of finds from that field was the decent shaped semi-key 1867 Indian and a cooked 1865 Indian.

The second site gave up some great finds as well. The house was tore down before 1880, so I was pretty excited about this one. The first find ended up being a real good shape 1864 Indian. The next target was a screaming signal on top of the ground. It ended up being a 1848 Large Cent. #6 on the year. The final and best find of the day was a horrible signal that turned into a horrible shaped 1852 3-Cent. This thing is cracked bent and worn, but it is welcomed. The first Silver 3-cent I dug was in a field as well and it was just as hard to find the thing in the plug!
