Given the nice weather forecasted for this past weekend, I made some time to do some hunting. I was at 95 silvers and 98 Indians going into the hunt so I was hoping with some luck to get to 100 each. I went back to the only spot that has been steadily producing oldies over the last 5 hunts.

Got out for about 4 hours on Saturday and the signals were coming in real good. Got 2 Barber Dimes - 1902S and 1903, 3 Mercs - 1917S, 1920S and 1943, and a 1964D Rosie. Also found 1 1907 Indian and 9 wheaties.

Having achieved 100 silver, I went back on Sunday to see if I could squeeze out some more Indians. Was out for about 5 hours and when I arrived I met another detectorist who was at the same park. It was a pleasure to meet you Tony and a good time hunting with you. Congratulations on the silver you found. I got 3 Indians pushing me over 100 - 1882, 1899 and 1905. All three were found in the last hour of my hunt. Also got 4 more silvers - 2 nice condition mercs - 1917 and 1917S. A foreign silver coin - an 1883 Norwegian 10 Ore. Its silver but real black and stained. Find of the day for me was an 1891O seated dime. Also got 11 wheaties and a Goetz phone token. The dime was my 7th seated coin of the year - all from local parks (5 dimes and 2 quarters) Last year I didnt get any seated.
