Silicon Carbide "rock"
I found this rock in Kenosha Wisconsin. It was Id'ed as Silicon Carbide through density and hardness testing.
It does not look like any other sample of Silicon Carbide ive seen and it is also heavier than a larger man
made peice i have. It can be found in nature but is extremely rare because it is free of silicates and most of
the world is composed of silicates. Any Thoughts?
