Found this thing while detecting says: Silent Glow Made By Silent Glow Corp Hartford Conn Anyone know what it is or how old it is?

What you have is a jug that fed kerosene into a burner. Mine was made in 1927 and has a spring cap and handle on the top of the jug. It was placed bottom side up (like a water cooler jug) and it fed kerosene into the burner. Nice find.
