I found this adorable set of framed, double matted, signed, numbered, bird pictures (prints, litho?) today at a yard sale.

They are beautiful and I don't plan to sell them bc I already have a place picked out for them on one of the walls in my bedroom.

I'm really just trying to get additional details on identifying the artist for these two pieces.

Thanks in advance

Thanks. The one was a 60/250 and the other was a 73/250. They are quite nice! I can't figure out what the paper is that they are printed on though. It kind of reminds me of the old style wallpaper used in bathrooms long ago.

Very nice finds. I've never had any luck researching out the artists of oriental art. I can't tell from your photos, but woodcuts are very popular in oriental art. A few clues that might help, since the numerals of the prints are in anglizised numerals, the print edition is probably of western origin. One thing for sure though, you will need to post better close up photos of the red chop for anyone to positively identify them. You can eleminate Hsi-Tsun Chang though, similar look but the chop is different.

Thank you for the advise, here are a few close ups with a slightly better camera phone.
