i love these sifting stories ! that is a super cool and interesting way to treasure hunt. keep on sifting...i'm sure that walker will shine again in the basket :icon_sunny:

Looks like your having a lot of fun even in the hot weather. Should make yourself a canopy while your diggin.

Yea a canopy would be great, as you can see the shade was leaving us by this time so we were procrastinating a bit.
We have found some oyster shells here and thats like real old evidence.
Hard to belive the old coins arent here yet, but it wasent a store like the other one but a (not "a" But THE Calvert Grand Hotel, 3 story, "talk of Texas" in its day) hotel back court yard. Then later stores, so the floor boards were probaly tight then. Alot of 1800's glass coming up, but nothing Crazy yet.
Its another good situation, owner Wants to dig, and seems intrested/excited,(been digging a little) but time is a problem for him.
I hope to post something wonderful soon , or find something so wonderful we cant post it. LOL

All those finds came from the area where I see dirt? If it is, that's alot of finds. Wish I was closer, I would be tickled pink helping you. There's an area like this in the town near me and another in the next town over. Only the floors there...both are old towns so I have to assume these buildings are from the late 1800s-to early 1900's.
Anyway, great finds...keep em coming & good luck!!

 RR

We'll cmonRiver butyoull have to sleep in the barn like Monty and Burdie did.

Hope it becomes a repeat of your last site, though I doubt you'll top that one for awhile. Curios, what was the newest date coin that you found at the big site? 1940's? Those photos and Vid's still blow me away!
