Sideways pictures problem whenever I upload photos

Every time I upload photographs from my iPhone or my iPad on the website they come out sideways. I know I'm taking them correctly with my Apple stuff so I don't understand why every time I try to load them to the website they come out sideways. Please help?!?

I had the same problem with my iPad pics....once I turned it sideways, pic come out straight...
My wife's phone however, no clue how that works....my selfies come out upside down.
