Ok today I went back to the sidewalk tearouts where I was at yesterday. Today I covered the exact same sidewalks but this time I did the dirt that was shoved around on the side. Not too bad...bunch of wheats again. 16 to be exact, oldest was 1916, got one buffalo 1923, one silver dime 1934, skeleton key, Presidential token, conterfeit gold coin..lol, toy car, bullet, an old copper broach missing the stone.
I was shocked that many wheats, and only one nickel and one dime....odd......that was silver #121 for the year.
In two hunts that sidewalk tearout produced:
30 wheats
2 indians
1 buffalo
3 silver dimes
1 token
2 keys
old broach
1 marble
toy car
sidewalks normally produce decent finds for me, but you have to go slow, lots of iron, at least the ones I have hunted. I ran TTF on my etrac.
