Went out today after work and hunted a 30 foot section of removed sidewalk slabs in an older residential area. Managed a 1930 Buffalo nickel and a 1925 mercury dime. I only hunted about 10 mins but still managed a nice take-home after work. Its just crazy some of the spots that coins turn up in. Good luck and HH, lko_88 :)

Wow! Great finds for such a short hunt. I just missed a sidewalk project in front of an old church right around the corner from my house. I happened past yesterday just as the cement truck was backed up to start the pour. Dang!

Nice job!

Great finds for just 10 minutes. That clip looks like it may be one end of a lady's sweater keeper. I don't know what it's really called. It's a nice little chain affair with a small clip on each end. A lady (or girl) can wear her sweater completely unbuttoned and use one of these retainers to prevent the sweater from slipping off of her shoulder and falling to the ground. They're made to look like a piece of jewelry. Some of the older ones were silver, so clean up your clip and check for a marking.
