I had a ok day saturday so i had my wife help me out to the field. Remenber this is the 1800s stage coach stop. No gold ,but in 20 minutes I hit a cache of blacksmith hammers. Do what you enjoy till you die!!

Neat group of old hamers, WTG!!!
I like finding those, all I have found so far is a pretty good size Ballping, and a small brass head, need to get some new handles for them and they'll be good as new...

These are my kinds of finds. I've hunted lumber camps for years. They often had a blacksmith.

Just recently I was able to locate a living relative of a certain early 20th century blacksmith. I have many of his works in my collection. She gave me a picture she had of him. That will look good displayed with the relics.

Good to see ya out there. I had a bit of a health setback earlier this year myself. Glad to say I came back with a vengence. Managed to quit smoking also.
Someone bigger then us has a plan for you and it doesn't involve giving up. Wishin' and praying for the best for you.
