Some kind of religious shrine? Vodoo? Fl. Is a melting pot with people from the Islands. Never a dull moment.7B1EAAD1-AC11-4316-ACBC-A7FEC1287347.jpegB7F46C7F-799C-4FC8-9A68-69DC74C32F6D.jpegA516A3B8-4462-44B3-8237-2EAEBFC9DF7E.jpegA31BF5B3-1DF7-4235-B458-8F831900CA7A.jpeg

Any idea what the “pumpkin head” with the blue plate behind it? I figured the other was Hindu by the pix. ACC0BBAD-7337-4B69-B241-52F1864167D3.jpegF5A8EE74-6F37-4BE2-A1F5-36A1CEF33445.jpeg

Catholic home made personal prayer place. They are usually outdoors built into the sides of cliffs/caves for many visitors to come see/pray towards. A Personal Grotto.

The baby has an elephant nose, wonder what that’s all about. Did some research and there was a Hindu god named Ganesha with an elephant head and 4 arms. Maybe someone can translate the lettering at the bottom of the pix. I don’t think the pumpkin head looks Hindu at all, sort of a Caribbean Island look. I got zero hits on the beach and sand wall.

Here’s the rundown....... just got back from The Hindu Society of Central Fl. Temple. WOW, what a stunning building it was like a mini Angkor Wat! Very friendly and helpful. Sign Absolutely NO pix, bummer............ My discovery is a personal Hindu Shrine the one Deity, the one with the Elephant head and 4 arms is Ganesha, remover of obstacles, Patron of the arts and sciences, Deva of intellect and wisdom. The other 2 Deities, I could not understand the pronunciation when he said who they were, (definite language barrier) they control your time to come and go on this earth.
The “Pumpkin Head” is from central Africa. I asked him if a possibility of Caribbean with African roots? Definite NO, only Central Africa, probably Kenya or Tanzania
