Shreddable scrap

[Emperor Findus Cladius]

There are items that the recycling yards call shreddables that they purchase. Some of them are washers, dryers, refrigerators (without the compressor). Does anyone know what else constitutes a shreddable? Also, do you know about what they might pay for shreddables?

shredded is any iron or steel that is less than 1/4 of a inch think

if it's fairly clean, ie not a lot of plastics etc you should get a couple pennies a pound for it. more if it's broken down....
