Dug today along with a 1926 nickel i picked up off the ground next to the road.
Says HIT/USA on the back.
Looks to be clad with copper and something else maybe zinc to make it gold colored.

Nice find anyway, considering that I probably stepped on it, before you noticed it and picked it up.
